Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni wrote to European Council President António Costa asking EU leaders to choose a representative with a clear mandate for Ukraine peace negotiations. She warned that overlapping diplomatic initiatives were undermining Europe's credibility and that Rome would not accept commitments made without authorization. Meloni wants a formal decision on the question at the December summit, Kyiv Post reported.
