Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he intends to hold talks with Vladimir Putin on ending Russia's war in Ukraine, following a meeting with Volodymyr Zelensky in Istanbul. Kyiv Post reported the plan on November 5. Erdogan said Ankara would keep pursuing diplomacy and that Turkish officials were consulting Russian counterparts to prepare the ground for the discussions.
