Sergei Mulivanov, a Latvian who had vocally supported Russia, moved to Russia and was forcibly conscripted into the Russian army while in pre-trial detention. The Kyiv Independent reported that he signed a military contract and was then sent to take part in the invasion of Ukraine that he had previously backed.
