Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said every power plant in Ukraine has been damaged by Russian attacks and requested urgent equipment supplies on November 5, 2026. Ukrinform reported that Zelensky called on Latin American countries and Spain to supply transformers, cables, generators and other electrical equipment to restore the energy system. Ukrinform separately reported that Slovakia will provide 54 generators, along with funds for shelters and medical equipment, as Ukrainska Pravda reported.
