Spain will provide Ukraine with a new military aid package of about €437 million ($500 million), President Volodymyr Zelensky said on November 5, 2026 in Madrid. The pledge followed a meeting with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on the sidelines of the 30th Ibero-American Summit. Zelensky said the funds would help bolster Ukrainian air defences as Russian strikes damage transport and energy infrastructure. He also called for clear written security guarantees ahead of trilateral talks in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11.
