Ukrainian forces clear over 600 hectares in Sumy region during seven-week operation

Ukrainian military intelligence said Operation Cheburechna, a seven-week series of combat operations in autumn 2026, cleared more than 600 hectares of Russian-held territory in Sumy region. The operation also struck more than 60 Russian drone control centres. The figures were released by Ukrainian military intelligence and have not been independently verified.
