GDACS issued a series of green forest fire notifications for Brazil, covering fires that began between 23 and 31 October 2026 and were recorded as continuing until 5 November. The notifications are low-level alerts and give no figures for area burned, people affected, deaths or damage, and none are reported in the excerpts. The fires have been tracked over roughly two weeks, with several alerts updating the same or similar fire periods.
