Amazon is adding a feature to Alexa for Shopping that lets customers buy products by texting the AI assistant, according to The Verge and TechCrunch. Users can describe an item or send a photo, and Alexa will search Amazon listings, text back recommendations, and order on their behalf. Amazon said the feature will roll out to millions of users in the coming weeks, building on the Alexa for Shopping experience launched in May.
