Elon Musk said in an X post that Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at its Texas Gigafactory around the middle of 2027. TechCrunch reported that the factory space will be used to make more Cybercabs. The Austin plant is the only Tesla facility known to assemble the Cybertruck, and the move aligns with Tesla's push to ramp up robotaxi output.
