Mass Effect fans, a Canadian MP and developers have rallied around BioWare in the days before N7 Day, after EA shut the studio last month. Fans sent a truck bearing a #SaveMassEffect message to EA headquarters. A Canadian politician started an official government petition to help BioWare buy its way out from under EA, and PC Gamer reported it has enough signatures to oblige a government response. A documentary on the studio's history and closure is due next year, per Eurogamer. Warren Spector criticised EA executives' payouts. Moor-Art is taking preorders for a Mass Effect art collection, and the official BioWare store is still releasing N7 Day merchandise.
