Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski announced on November 6, 2026 that Warsaw will provide 8 million zlotys, about $2 million, to buy power generators for Ukraine ahead of winter. Kyiv Post reported the announcement came after a Council of the Baltic Sea States meeting in Warsaw attended by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and EU High Representative Kaja Kallas. Sikorski warned that no diplomatic solution can be imposed on Kyiv without its consent, linking the aid to the broader diplomatic debate over Abu Dhabi talks.
