A Russian airstrike on a Komyshuvakha aid distribution point and shelter in Zaporizhzhia Oblast on November 2, 2026 has killed at least 55 people after rescuers recovered nine more bodies from the rubble. Ukraine's military intelligence (HUR) has identified the Russian colonel who planned the strike and the Su-34 crews who dropped guided bombs, including a 3,000-kilogram FAB-3000 munition. Kyiv Post reported that intelligence analysts estimate roughly 30 more bodies may remain trapped beneath the collapsed bunker. The Kyiv Independent reported that HUR said four Su-34 fighter-bombers were involved in the operation, while earlier reports named six Su-34 pilots, and the two accounts differ on the number of aircraft and crews. Ukraine's Defense Intelligence (DIU) also said it had identified Russian military personnel involved in the airstrike.
