There is still no vaccine against the Bundibugyo strain of Ebola behind the current outbreak, Deutsche Welle reported. The disease has been known for decades, yet no vaccine has been approved for this strain. Deutsche Welle reported that new research raises hopes of protection against the various types of Ebola. The report did not give details on the timing or stage of that research.
